ABOUT
Founded by artist Tristan Duke, Hologroove Records (Infinity Light Science) is the exclusive home of 3D etched vinyl holography. Using a proprietary process originally developed for his fine art practice, Duke etches designs directly into the record, creating fully three-dimensional images that hover and spin as the vinyl plays.
Following the 2014 debut of this technology on Jack White’s Lazaretto—which Forbes noted was a major factor in the album breaking a 25-year vinyl sales record—Duke has created original holograms for bands including Guns N' Roses, Rush, and Helloween. He also designed four deluxe holograms for anniversary releases of the Star Wars soundtrack—work that earned a 2016 CLIO Award.
